The programme

From "I know the tyre trade" to a trading, Requex-branded mobile tyre business.

You should not have to assemble a van conversion, equipment, software, supplier accounts, insurance and marketing on your own. Requex coordinates the infrastructure around your business so you can concentrate on fitting tyres and looking after customers.

You run an independent business. Your customers, your diary, your trading entity. This is not a franchise and it is not employment.
Requex creates the Fleet Unit. A converted, equipped, Requex-liveried van built to a standard specification and assigned to you.
Requex supplies the network. Software, payments, tyre procurement, a public marketplace and a recognisable consumer brand on the road.
A business, not a job in a van. Your position and protected territory are yours to grow: one van first, more vans and technicians as demand builds, without a competing operator being placed beside you.
You are selected, not sold to. Having the capital does not guarantee a place. Requex approves operators on competence, safety and commercial readiness.

The Fleet Unit

One standard build. Every van the same.

Each Fleet Unit is converted and equipped to a Requex specification, given a fleet asset number and tracked through its whole life. Requex owns the standard, so a unit can be serviced, supported and if necessary redeployed without starting from scratch.

Submitting an application does not reserve a vehicle or a territory, and approval is not guaranteed. Vehicle sourcing begins only after the conditions in your Operator Offer and Operator Agreement are met.

In your offer

Amounts, stages, VAT treatment, what is refundable and what happens on cancellation are set out in the Operator Offer and the Operator Agreement, which are the only documents that govern the relationship. Requex does not guarantee earnings, work volume, finance or territory exclusivity. Requex is not a lender or an insurer.

Fitters who want to run the business, not just the van.

The first cohort is small on purpose. Requex selects operators who can run a safe, reputable and commercially sustainable mobile tyre business while representing the Requex brand on the road.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this a franchise?

No. The Fleet Operator Programme is an application-based operator opportunity. You run an independent business using Requex fleet, brand, technology and network infrastructure under an Operator Agreement. Requex is not currently positioning the programme as a franchise.

Do I own the van and the equipment?

Ownership of the vehicle, the conversion and each item of equipment is set out explicitly in the Fleet Vehicle and Equipment Schedule of your agreement. Your initial investment contributes economically to the fit-out, but that does not by itself determine ownership. Requex retains sufficient control over each Fleet Unit to support it and, if an operator exits, to recover and redeploy it.

When does Requex buy my vehicle?

Only after you have accepted an Operator Offer, signed the Operator Agreement and made the payment that authorises the build. Requex does not buy speculative fleet stock, and an application does not reserve a vehicle.

Is my territory exclusive?

Every operator has a defined operating area based on UK postcodes, sized around local demand and operator viability rather than an equal split of the map. Only 99 operator positions exist across the UK, and a position is a business: you can add vans and technicians inside your territory as demand grows. Whether an area is exclusive, protected or preferential is set in your Territory Schedule. Nothing on this site promises exclusivity.

Will Requex guarantee me work or income?

No. The Requex marketplace generates customer bookings in your area and you are expected to win your own local customers too, but Requex does not guarantee revenue, profit, job volume, finance or business success.

What about insurance?

Requex intends every Fleet Unit and approved driver to be properly insured under a controlled arrangement. The structure, and any contribution you make, is confirmed in the Insurance and Driver Requirements Schedule before handover. Requex is not an insurer.

Can I apply from outside the UK?

Not at the moment. The programme launches in the United Kingdom only. Other markets will be announced separately with their own terms.
